Another question. I know the water parks have lockers but what if you where glasses, can you still go on the rides without them flying off your head, or any suggestions for how to keep them with you. Will any of the cast members make you take them off?

    Margaret:

Although I don't wear glasses on a regular basis, I tend to wear my sunglasses all day, every day when I'm at Disney.

On our last trip, I found myself not able to enjoy the Family Raft Ride at Blizzard Beach because I was holding on to my sunglasses the entire time--not a small feat.  Thankfully, the Cast Member/Lifeguard warned me that they were on my head or they probably would have flown off. And this ride was one of the more tame ones.

Regardless of whether they suggest or "make" you take them off, my experience on most of the slides has told me to either leave my glasses on my chair or for those with prescription glasses, I'd suggest a head band.  I've never had trouble with my towel and general "stuff" being bothered while on my chair at the water parks.  If you're concerned: put them in an insulated cooler.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
