Hey there, hi there, Kathleen! Welcome to planDisney. Your family's trip to Disneyland Resort is fast-approaching, so let's see if we can help you out!
Disneyland Resort is a place of magic and wonder for Guests of all ages and there is plenty to see and do for everyone. There are not any discounts or ticket types for Guests who do not ride attractions. Standard theme park tickets have prices for children ages 3 to 9 and for ages 10+. Unfortunately, that means the ticket price for the grandparents would be the same.
With the trip date fast approaching I highly recommend purchasing the tickets soon. Currently, for entry to Disneyland Resort parks, you need a ticket as well as a
theme park ticket reservation. If you purchase the tickets through the Disneyland website, you will pick your dates and park for each day during the checkout process, which will confirm your theme park reservation. There are days that run out of reservations or park availability.
I do want to mention that there are plenty of easier-going
attractions that are great for all ages that the grandparents may be able to enjoy with the grandkids. My favorite way to enjoy everything the park has to offer is to hop on the
Disneyland Railroad for a trip or two around the park. I also want to make sure you are aware that children must be at least 7 years of age to ride attractions solo, otherwise they must be with someone who is 14 years or older.
Kathleen, thanks again for stopping by! I hope this trip is full of everlasting memories for your kids and their grandparents.
Carrie
