    Another question, Jason! We are coming 8/28 to 9/7. IF free dining is announced and were to start on 8/29, would we still get it since the majority of our trip is during the (hopeful) offer?

    Hey, hey Jaynee!

    Welcome back, I am so glad to help you again! This is a Fantasmic! question because everyone loves free food especially Walt Disney World Resort delights. It's like Pooh finding an extra pot of hunny and with over 130 fantastic dining experiences, there is something for everyone.

    The answer depends on your check-in date.

    If free dining is offered AFTER your check-in date then you will need two reservations. One without free dining and the other with free dining included.

    As long as your check-in date is during the free dining offer, you will continue to enjoy free dining until your Walt Disney World Resort vacation ends (which is a very sad moment).

    Policies do change and it is best to contact your travel agent or Walt Disney World Resort reservations (407-WDISNEY or 407-934-7639) to firm up the details. Keep watching the special offers page to see if free dining pops up.

    Disney Dad Tip: Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins early September in 2016. It a ghoulishly delightful party to attend. My favorite part is Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Spectacular, it's sorcery in the sky.
