Hello, Paola! Welcome to planDisney! I’m excited to help you make your New Year's Eve at
Walt Disney World Resort as magical as possible.
Since you’ll be staying off-property, I’d recommend checking directly with your hotel to see if they have any New Year's events planned. Most of the themed New Year’s Eve celebrations my fellow planDisney friends and I are familiar with tend to be exclusive to
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, with many offering special menus, firework viewing areas, and other special ways to ring in the new year.
To get a true Disney New Year's Eve experience, you might want to consider booking a dinner at
California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort or
Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Both offer incredible views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks, either from your table or from designated viewing areas, like California Grill’s balcony or Narcoossee’s dock. These restaurants often feature special menus for the holiday. For something extra magical, consider a New Year's Eve event from the
Enchanting Extras Collection, such as a
Magic Kingdom Dessert Party for prime fireworks viewing or even a
private boat rental on Seven Seas Lagoon. Another fun option is to stop by
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, where you can grab a tropical drink before watching the fireworks on the beach, toes in the sand, surrounded by tiki torches.
I hope this helps answer your question, Paola! If you’d like more tips or assistance planning your celebration, feel free to
stop back by and ask me another question.
Cheers to the New Year!
Brent
