I have a question. My husband had medical difficuties, 7 stents, pacemaker and previous open heart surgery but refuses to get a handicap sticker from his dr, stubborn, are there any options for parking closer for him or pick up at the vehicle once we park

    Hello, Todd!

I am sorry to hear that your husband has endured some medical difficulties. A dose of Walt Disney World Resort magic is sure to help his recovery. There are trams available to take Guests from different parking areas to a drop off location close to the entrances to Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom. The parking areas at the Magic Kingdom is a little different as the tram drops you off at the Transportation and Ticket Center where you can catch the monorail or ferry to the park. Honestly, your husband may find that the trams get him closer to the entrances than if he had parked in the designated handicap parking areas, as trams do not serve these areas. If you plan to visit a Disney Deluxe Resorts or Disney Springs, valet parking is available.

I hope this helps with your planning. Please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again should you have other questions as you plan your upcoming visit.

    Happy Planning!
