Hello, Rebeca! What a wonderful trip you have ahead of you; a first birthday is a special occasion, and there’s no better place to celebrate than
Magic Kingdom park!
As soon as you arrive on the big day, head to Main Street City Hall, where you can obtain a special birthday button pin for the birthday girl to wear, and “I’m Celebrating” buttons for the rest of your party. You can write on them with Sharpies to personalize them, if you like. Most table service restaurants often offer a birthday cupcake, as I’m told by Cast Members at Guest Relations, but my favorite thing to do for a birthday is to purchase a
treat from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor.
If you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can order
in-room celebrations, balloons, stuffed animals and more to celebrate the big day. It extends the celebration from the Parks to your room! If you’re looking for a more affordable option, bring an
autograph book to capture birthday wishes from Princesses, Characters, Cast Members and more. It’s sure to be quite the momento.
Lastly, I recommend that you purchase Memory Maker in advance of your vacation. This entitlement allows you to download all of your Disney PhotoPass photos from your vacation, including family shots, attraction photos and videos, and more. What a photo album of your daughter’s birthday it will be when it’s filled with character photos and adventures from your vacation! Have a wonderful trip! ~Lindsey P.
