Hi Julianna,
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I love
Disney's Wilderness Lodge for its theming, amenities, and dining.
Artist Point is one of my favorite restaurants, and I think their Cedar Plank Salmon is probably the best I have enjoyed anywhere.
One of the best, quickest, and most convenient options for resort-to-resort transportation around Walt Disney World Resort is the new Minnie Van Service. Using the popular Lyft mobile app, you can easily arrange for a comfortable and Minnie Mouse stylish vehicle to pick you up and take you to your resort destination. Earlier this week, my wife and I used the Minnie Van Service to travel from our resort hotel to our dinner reservation at California Grill. Our fare was $20 (we chose to add a gratuity on top of the fare) and our friendly and knowledgeable Minnie Van Driver gave us a great guided tour along our route.
Another option would be to take the
Walt Disney World Resort Bus Transportation from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom Park and then walk over to the Resort Monorail and ride it to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. You could also take the water transportation from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom Park and then water transportation over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
Based on my own experience, I would recommend the Minnie Van Service given your time and travel needs. You can visit Guest Services at your resort hotel and a Cast Member can assist you to set up the mobile app to use the Minnie Van Service.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
