Hi Jin Mi,
Welcome to planDisney!
Yes, you can definitely book rides for the other party, you’ll just want to make sure that they are in your Family and Friends List!
When it comes to my family members, we like to have one person “in charge” of the
My Disney Experience mobile app. This way, all the Disney Park Pass reservations, dining reservations, and mobile tickets are all in one central location. If you and your party decide to go this route, you’ll want to make sure one member of your party has all the other guests in their Family and Friends List. To do this, from the home screen of the My Disney Experience mobile app, you’ll press the three horizontal lines in the lower right-hand corner, scroll to the bottom and select “My Profile”. Next, select “Family & Friends List” and then you’ll be able to add each member of your party.
You can also share your plans with members of your party. So, if another guest would like to sign in on their mobile app, they can! You’ll just want to tap their name within your app, and either press “Send Email” or “Scan Linking Code” to share the plans. If you choose to “Scan their Linking Code”, they’ll be able to find their QR code under “My Profile”.
Now, once everyone is added to the mobile app, you’ll want to purchase your Theme Park tickets (if you haven’t done so already) and book your
Disney Park Pass reservations. Currently, both valid Theme Park entry and Disney Park Pass reservations are needed for entry into the Theme Parks. Since you’re going on a holiday weekend, I highly suggest booking your passes as soon as possible.
Since the entire party will be on your mobile app, you can select the
Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane reservations on your phone as well. Once selected, they’ll also show up on anyone’s My Disney Experience mobile app that you shared plans with! Remember that with
Disney Genie+, you’ll want to try to get the earliest Lightning Lane reservation so you can make another reservation either after you use your first Lightning Lane or two hours after the Theme Park opens, whichever comes first!
I know that is a ton of information, but I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your Walt Disney World vacation in a few months.
If you have any other vacation or planning questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
