my question is about Fantasmic. It is the one thing I am a bit worried about. I am worried the show would be too scary for my youngest ( 2 1/2). This is our 1st trip and don't know much about the show. Also, is hollywood & vine a good choice for pkg?

Hello Kimberly! I could have written this exact question last year. My daughter was 2 1/2 on our trip and I had the same fears about how scary Fantasmic would be for her.

We also booked the Fantasmic dinner package at Hollywood & Vine. I thought the buffet would be a good choice because as I'm sure you know, sometimes sitting in a restaurant and waiting for your food can make a small child restless! We enjoyed our meal. There was a very nice selection and something that we all could enjoy on the buffet.

Taking advantage of the Fantasmic dinner package is a great idea when you have young kids because you won't have to wait in the long lines to get into the show. You will enter through a special entrance and choose a seat in a roped off section. We arrived about thirty minutes before the show was scheduled to start. My daughter sat in my lap, and I was prepared to leave the amphitheater if anything was too scary and she didn't want to watch. There are some Disney villains in the show, but I was surprised at how well my daughter did. She did turn her head a few times, but she mostly enjoyed it. I know all kids are different, so you may want to search the internet for video clips of the show so you can get a better idea of what to expect and how your youngest will react.

I hope that your family enjoys the show. It is one of my favorites!
