Amber from MD Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Question is, I am fairly familiar with fast passes but my in laws are coming with us in Nov 18... they cant really do rides. Can my husband and I and our kids use the fast passes that they are allotted or will they be wasted?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amber!

I love how the FastPass+ service helps save magical park touring time, so you can enjoy even more of the magic while you are there! FastPass+ are assigned specifically to each guest with a valid theme park ticket. But I do recommend that you book some for your in-laws. You definitely don’t want them to go to waste! So here are some suggestions for you.

I would recommend booking some FastPass+ for some non-ride attractions like shows or maybe some slow-moving attractions like Peter Pan’s Flight at Magic Kingdom, or Spaceship Earth at Epcot. If once you are there, they still rather not ride, you can access their FP+ and modify the party in your My Disney Experience mobile app. If your family has already used their allotted 3, you can transfer your in-laws pre-booked FastPass+ to you.

I hope this helps! For any additional questions or planning advice, please don’t hesitate to stop by! It’s our pleasure to assist you as you plan an unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

    See ya real soon,
