It's frustrating to return home and realize something special you selected doesn't fit! I picked out some holiday sweaters at a shop at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa on my last visit, and I would have been really disappointed to get home and find out they were too small for my boys.
But I've got magical news for you: Outside of some exceptions, you can exchange items purchased in the parks. You'll want to call the dedicated
Merchandise Guest Services phone line to begin the process of exchanging your item for the correct size. A helpful Cast Member will be able to assist you. Just be aware of the
policies for merchandise exchanges and returns. For example, your item must be new, in the same condition as it was purchased, and have the tags still attached. It also must be within the 30 days purchase window. The Cast Member you speak with can walk you through all the policies to ensure your clothing item is eligible for an exchange. I'd be sure to have the item and the receipt with me when I placed the call to facilitate the exchange.
