Ahoy, David!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm so happy to hear you've got a Disney Cruise Line vacation planned for September! What magical memories you'll be making with your grandson as you sail the open seas with Captain Mickey and his crew on the gorgeous
Disney Fantasy.
To board the ship and travel with your grandson, you'll need to bring standard travel documents such as a birth certificate and/or a passport, and you'll also need an
Authorization For Minor To Travel Without a Parent or Legal Guardian Form. This form authorizes an adult other than the parent or legal guardian to retain care, custody and control of a child while on a Disney Cruise Line vacation. His parent or legal guardian will need to complete the form prior to your arrival at the port terminal, where you'll present it to the Cast Member when you check in for your sailing.
Once you've presented proper documentation at the port terminal, you'll be all set to board the ship and begin your Disney Cruise Line adventure! Please let us know if you have any more questions before you set sail, we're happy to help.
Have a magical day! - Diane W.
