I have a question about the Disney's Magical Express. Our flight arrives at 8:40 pm. Would you recommend we pick up our own bags from baggage claim since we are coming in late, in order to have our things that night before we go to sleep? Thank you!

    Hello, Courtney,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I always really appreciate all the perks that come with using Disney's Magical Express.  Since your flight has an evening arrival, you can certainly gather your own luggage from baggage claim to bring with you on the motorcoach.  It will give you the peace of mind to know that you have everything with you upon your arrival and can get a good night's sleep.

However, if you start to think that you'd may have your hands full and would like to not have to juggle a lot of extra things at the airport, you can still utilize the complimentary resort luggage delivery. Please keep in mind, though, that you will need to make this decision beforehand as your luggage will need the yellow tags placed on them when you check your luggage at your home city.  You'd also need to keep with you a carry-on bag of the essential things you need upon your arrival since you won't have your luggage right away.  You'll also want to be prepared for the possibility of the your luggage being delivered after you fall asleep.

After weighing the pros and cons of each option, you'll want to pick the best one for you. Either way, though, you'll wake up in Walt Disney World!

If we can help with any further questions, please let us know.  Wishing you a magical trip! -Kara
