Hi Ashley,
Judging by your question, you're planning a fantastic vacation that includes a visit to the
Disneyland Resort and a
Disney Cruise!
If that's correct, I have to commend you for giving yourself and your family an incredible opportunity to enjoy multiple Magical experiences offered by Disney!
Currently, there is no direct transportation from the Disneyland Resort to the Port of San Diego.
Guests who plan on enjoying both the Parks and a Disney Cruise usually get a rental car and drive directly to the Port after having visited the Parks or vice versa.
I've also heard of guests using a taxi to get to the Anaheim train station and hopping on the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner line that gets them to Old Town San Diego, which is only a short distance away from the Port.
This second option requires more planning to make sure you get on the right train, at the right time. It also means you'll have to carry your bags around and take a taxi cab from the Disneyland Resort to the train station and from the train station in San Diego to the Port.
You should also consider independent shuttle companies. The friendly Cast Members at your Disneyland Resort Hotel will be happy to recommend a few transportation companies.
Finally, many families are now turning to ride-share services for transportation purposes. This option may prove to be easy, convenient and affordable as well.
I hope this information helps!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I hope you have a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time!
