Welcome, Heidi!
The holidays certainly are a festive time to be at the Happiest Place on Earth...or should we say Merriest Place on Earth! I can understand wanting to use your theme park tickets to visit this month to experience all the festive, holly jolly from seasonal sweets and treats to some favorite attractions dressed up just for the holidays. Let's take a spin in a teacup to find an answer to your question.
It sounds like you have two
One-Park-Per-Day tickets. I hope I have that right! If you purchased the tickets initially from your Disneyland account on the website, I can help you locate your digital tickets and provide instructions on how to make a
theme park reservation for your preferred dates. My suggestion would be to download the Disneyland app and log in with the same account information. Head to the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner and select "My Tickets and Passes". Here, you will see any theme park tickets that are linked to your account. If you see them, tap the "+" in the bottom navigation bar to select "Make a Park Reservation" followed by "Make or Modify Park Reservations" and "Book Theme Park Reservation". On the next screen, you will choose the tickets you are making a reservation for, followed by your preferred date and which park you'd like to go to. The calendar will show you what is available for your particular ticket. If you have a One-Park-Per-Day ticket, these fall into tiers. With the holidays upon us, most dates in December require a higher-tier ticket (up to Tier 6). You can
upgrade your ticket in the app if it is in a lower tier and pay the difference. Head back to "My Tickets and Passes" and tap "Change Ticket". Follow the instructions under "Ticket Offers and Numbers of Days". Within this option, you will be able to select your preferred date and park, and see what the pricing change will be to upgrade to a higher tier. The good news is that once you pay the difference, you will have also made your park reservation. Do this for both of your park days, and you should be all set! The holidays are a popular time to be in the park, and reservations are subject to availability, so I would make your plans soon!
If you happen to purchase tickets from a third-party, this will just involve an extra step that will require you to set up a Disneyland account, if you don't already have one. Step one would be to locate your ticket confirmation number. If you can't find it, I would contact the third-party seller that you purchased the tickets from to help you. When you open the app and head to "My Tickets & Passes", you will now tap the "+" in the top right-hand corner and select
"Link Tickets & Passes". You can manually enter the ticket confirmation, and magically, your ticket will be linked to your account, and you can move forward with making a theme park reservation.
If you have any questions along the way, I would recommend calling the
Guest Services team directly. They will be able to pull up your account and help you connect the tickets you are holding. I sure hope you can visit during the holidays and take advantage of all the festive cheer! The
Disney Parks Blog is a great resource for all the holiday happenings, from which characters are out about to all the best seasonal treats!
Heidi, I hope you find yourself in the magic very soon! We are always here for you at planDisney.
Happy holidays,
Tara
