Hi Danny!
HOORAY! Less than one month now and you set sail on a epic adventure at sea with Disney Cruise Line! Do you have a countdown calendar going already? So happy for you and your pirate crew to experience
all the magic that's included on a Disney sailing.
You can absolutely use a Disney gift card to pay your stateroom balance. It's a great way to spread out the cost of the extras on a Disney cruise. From spa treatments at
Senses Spa and Salon,
meals at Palo,
beverage tastings, gratuities, and onboard merchandise purchases, all can be placed on a guest’s stateroom account. Simply stop by Guest Services (Deck 3, Midship) and have the Disney Gift Card(s) credited to our account. I recommend doing this early on in the cruise and definitely NOT on the last night so you avoid large crowds at Guest Services.
Here’s a tip on how to avoid a wallet full of Disney Gift Cards: combine them all together onto one Disney Gift Card! Once you create an account on the Disney Gift Card website, up to $1000.00 can be placed on a single card. You can establish one card as your "primary card" and then add the other gift card amounts to it.
Hold onto the used gift card because any unused funds can be placed back on the card at the end of your sailing. This typically doesn’t happen to me because I tend to go overboard in spending my Disney dollars!
Finally, be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app prior to your sailing to unlock the treasure trove of cruise information right on your personal device. This is also a way to keep tabs on your stateroom account and make sure no scurvy pirates have plundered your account and put their charges on yours!
Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions about your upcoming adventure with Captain Mickey! Wishing you a magical voyage!
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
