    My question is about the disney dining. On the day we checkout I thought we would still be able to use the disney dining the whole day. In the booklet that was mailed with our reservation it is not counting that.

    Hello Stephanie.  Thanks for stopping by with your question.  While I happen to love the Disney Dining Plan, it took me quite a few trips to really figure out how to use it to my benefit.  

    The Disney Dining Plan is based on how many nights you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel. So, for instance, let's say you have booked a 6 night 7 day vacation at Walt Disney World and have the standard plan.  You would have 6 quick service credits, 6 table service credits and 6 snack credits to use per person during your vacation.  Those credits don't expire until midnight on the day you check out so you are welcome to use them that day.  You can also use your credits in any way you'd like. Depending on what time you check in, you may only need to use one of your credits and then you can carry over your others to a different day.  I like to only use a table service credit, for dinner, the day I arrive and then use the snack credit sometime throughout the week and then the quick service credit on the day we check out.  That's how I spread it out so we are still able to use the plan on the last day.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
