question about dining: I know you can make reservations, and I have for a few places already- but can you just walk into any of these places and sit down to eat or do you usually need a reservation? Also- if it's at 4:30 & park closes at 5? What happen

    Hello Melissa!

Advanced Dining Reservations for Table Service dining locations at the Walt Disney World Resort are very highly recommended. There is a possibility you may be able to secure a table at these dining locations when you walk in, however you may be using valuable vacation time going from restaurant to restaurant inquiring about availability. If working around dining times during your entire stay doesn't seem like your type of vacationing style, you can always enjoy some fantastic meals at numerous Quick Service dining locations located throughout the Walt Disney World Resort as most of these restaurants do not accept reservations.

If you have Advanced Dining Reservations or are seated at a Table Service restaurant close to Theme Park closing time, rest assured you will be served without rush. You are welcome to relax and enjoy your meal.

Wishing you and your family a delicious vacation, Melissa!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
