Hello! Question about DDP. Will my 9 YO really have to order dessert off kids' menus only? I'd feel bad having him watch his 11 YO brother order anything while he's so limited (looks like fruit cup or sundae are only dessert options on kids menus).

    Hi Lisa,

If you are using a child's Disney Dining Plan table service credit for your nine-year-old, then he would be limited to desserts on the kid's menu.  However, my family has worked our way around this when necessary.  For instance, I will often give my son my dessert ordered for the adult menu and then I take the child's dessert.  (I figure that eating smaller portions is a healthy choice for me anyway).  Or, if there's a dessert that he just needs to try, we'll pay out of pocket for it.  Desserts are not normally that expensive, especially when you consider how little the Disney Dining Plan costs per day for kids.  These strategies may help alleviate any issues between your two sons as they enjoy dessert.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Jill
