Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jen!
Oooooh, I just love “spooky season” at Walt Disney World! The Mickey pumpkins lining Main Street U.S.A., trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom Park during
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party...and don’t get me started on all the delicious and beautifully themed Halloween treats! You’re getting so close to your visit, and I know just how excited you’re getting.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event and is not included with your theme park tickets. If you’d like to
purchase party tickets – and I highly recommend you plan to attend – there are discounts available, including
Disney Vacation Club,
Annual Passholder, and military discounted tickets on select nights.
Military tickets are not available every party night, though. This year, the last military-discounted party will take place on October 24, 2019, which I see is before your arrival date. The tickets are sold at Walt Disney World Resort Guest Relations windows and at Shades of Green, which is Walt Disney World’s resort hotel for military members. If you’d like more information on pricing and discounted nights, I recommend calling Shades of Green at (407) 824-3400. You mention being retired military, and I’d like to clarify that only retirees with a valid military ID are able to take advantage of Disney’s military
special offers. Shades of Green can also help clarify any eligibility questions you might have.
I hope that helps, Jen. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a spook-tacular night, filled with fabulous entertainment, trick-or-treating, a fang-tastic parade, and the all-new
Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular fireworks show. It’s so much fun to dress up as your favorite characters for a night of Halloween fun, and I hope you’re able to attend this year. As Mickey and pals say at the party: Boo to you, and happy Halloween!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
