Ahoy Catherine!
Is there a more DREAMy way to celebrate the holidays than a
Very Merrytime cruise? I doubt it! You will certainly have a "jolly holiday" as you set sail on the Disney Dream. It's sure to be "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!"
I love how you've already heard of the Rainforest, a dedicated area for adults only located in
Senses Spa and Salon. That pass is absolutely my guilty pleasure when I cruise with Captain Mickey! Between the aromatherapy showers, saunas, and my favorite heated tile loungers, I think I could stay in there all day!
Drat-I wish I could tell you that your teenager could join you in the Rainforest at Senses Spa, but unfortunately, Guests must be 18 and older to reserve a Rainforest pass. But here’s the "spoonful of sugar": make a reservation for her once onboard for Chill Spa (which is housed inside Senses Spa and Salon). Chill Spa has been created especially for guests ages 13-17 and offers spa treatments like facials, massages, manicures, and pedicures. The menu of available treatments can be found online at
Chill Spa. So make it a mother-daughter adventure as you accompany her to the spa for her appointment (an adult or guardian must be present during the entire treatment).
Pro Tip: Since you would have to be with her during all the treatment options, why not indulge in the Mother/Daughter Paradise Massage? That way, you both get to enjoy a massage side by side!
I’d suggest as soon as you board the ship on embarkation day, make a beeline to Senses Spa and Salon to make a Chill Spa reservation because those are not available to be booked online.
"Step in time" back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you need any further help charting a course to your "practically perfect" vacation, Catherine!
Happy Sailing!
