I am excited to hear you will be visiting Mickey, Minnie, and all their pals in 2027! They cannot wait to meet you and your family.
Because there will be 7 guests in your room, a Family Suite at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort will not accommodate your party size. There is a maximum of 6 guests (age 3 and older) per the fire code in this room.
If you all want to stay in one room, your best option would be a 2-bedroom
villa at one of the Deluxe Resorts. This will allow all of you to stay together and even has a convenient kitchen if you want to prepare any in room meals.
A more affordable option would be to reserve 2 resort hotel rooms, with the most cost effective being a Value Resort. When reserving 2 rooms, you will need to make separate reservations. At check-out, you may request connecting or nearby rooms. You may prefer to
book by phone with a helpful Cast Member who will be able to make a notation of your connecting room request. All requests are noted but cannot be guaranteed.
I do not know if your 6-year-old has any special requirements, but if so, you may want to plan ahead. Look through some of the
special services available at Walt Disney World that might make your vacation more manageable.

Online reservations for 2027 should be available late spring/early summer 2026 so you have some time to research what will be your best option.
