Hey there, James! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
James, as a guest who loves to plan for my whole party (whether that is only my immediate family or entire friend group) I'm happy to help this process go down like a
"spoon full of sugar."Now, James, Mary Poppins herself said that "in every job there must be done, there is an element of fun..." so let's get the job done so you can be on your way. The first step to linking all three guests (including yourself) is to make sure each guest has their own
My Disney Experience account. These can be set up individually or you can set them up if you'll be the full time manager of their plans.
(For example, when my father-in-law joined us on a trip to Walt Disney World my husband set up his account and is the full time manager of his plans.) Once each guest has a dedicated account, you're ready to link tickets. Tickets DO NOT need to be purchased together in order to plan together.
(For example, earlier this summer I took a trip with some friends. We all purchased our own tickets at our convenience and then linked them together later.) To link your
theme park ticket from your My Disney Experience account, you'll want to scroll to the middle and find the blue icon that says "Park Tickets." Hover over this icon until you see the box: Link Tickets. From here you'll be able to enter your ticket confirmation number.
After each member in your party has completed this step, you're almost ready to plan together. All that's left is connecting your My Disney Experience accounts which you can do by finding the blue icon:
Family & Friends. Hover over this icon until you see the box: Add a Guest. Once you have added the other two guests (and they have accepted this request through their My Disney Experience accounts)...
"SNAP! The job's a game!"
James, I hope this helps as you're planning. If you have any additional questions, we're hEAR and ready to help make sure your vacation is "
practically perfect in every way."
Lauren
