    Another question for you all, I am coming down to Disney in Sept 2013, trying to put aside money weekly to save up as much without breaking the bank, are Disney Dollars and Disney gift cards accepted for food and souvenirs through the parks and resorts?

    Hi Megan!

    Yes, Disney Gift Cards and Disney Dollars are accepted throughout the resort for food and souvenir purchases.  There are only a handful of exceptions.  Disney Dollars are a ton of fun, and are even fun to collect, so you might want to put aside a few dollars for your own souvenir.
