My question is about the changes in the dining plan for 2012. Even calling the Cast Member and writing e-mails , I have not had a clear answer if I will be able to use the dining plan in the restaurants that are reported at Disney site. Thank you.

    Hi there Valeria!

I agree with you whole-hearted! Right now, even we are having a hard time trying to track down the changes to the Disney Dining Plan as to why certain restaurants are not showing up as accepting it. We like to be very precise and honest with our answers and right now our team of Disney Cast Members is hard at work, trying to nail down a definite list of which restaurants are going to accept it. If you read this brochure, it lists all of the restaurants which were scheduled to participate in the plan. But, if you read the fine print, changes can be made by Disney at anytime to the plan.

What I don't know is, if you make your reservation and at that time the restaurant is participating in the program, what happens when you arrive and they are not? Will they still honor your Disney Dining Plan? This is all information we are trying to get.  I would keep an eye out for any announcements on the Disney Park Blog or do a search here on the Moms Panel site for any changes. I hope this information helps you with your planning and if you have more questions, please ask away, we are always here to help! Have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
