    Question about the Castaway Cay 5K, do you have to run the event or can you walk?

    Hi Jennifer!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I consulted with Disney Cruise Line Mom, Nancy, to double check your answer. 

    She said that there is not usually a set time limit.  People do walk it and run it, but the crew members will eventually stop handing out medals.  Normally, they will stop handing out medals after about an hour.  Her suggestion is to check with either Guest Services or the Port Adventures Desk once you've boarded to ask about any possible time requirements for medals.
