Hello there! My question is, if I buy tickets seperately from resort hotel reservations (just to split up the costs) will we still be eligible for the Key To the World card? Not sure how that works.Or do we have to buy tickets and book room together?

    Hi Natalia,

The "Key To The World Card" is basically your room key.  If you purchase a Magic Your Way Package this key card not only is your entrance to your WDW Resort and room but also becomes your card loaded with these package features which can include your days in the parks (including Water Parks if this is an added feature you have chosen) as well as Dining credits if you have added the Dining Plan as a feature also.  You can also leave a credit card number when checking in at your resort for a pre-authorization amount so you will be able to use your key card for purchases you make within Walt Disney World and have no need to carry extra cash or credit cards along with you.

To answer your question...No, you do not need to purchase your tickets through WDW and you do not need to book any kind of a package in order to get your "Key To The World Card".  You will get your key card regardless of this and will use it for entry into the resort and your room as I mentioned above, but you will not have the option of using this card for entrance into the parks (instead you will use your separate pre-bought tickets for entry).  If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to submit more questions to us or you may call Guest Services at (407) 939-6244.

    Have a magical day!
