Ahoy, Karen!
Welcome aboard planDisney! It sounds like you're all set to kick off your magical Disney Cruise Line adventure. Let’s tackle your question so you’ll be ready to sail smooth seas—drink in hand!
While I know Twisted Tea would make a fun addition to your carry-on,
Disney Cruise Line’s policy is: Guests over the age of 21 may bring beer (up to six 12-ounce cans) and wine or champagne (up to two 750ml bottles) onboard, but other alcoholic beverages, like hard seltzers, malt beverages, or your beloved Twisted Tea, unfortunately, don’t make the cut. Anything outside the beer, wine, or champagne category is classified as “other liquors and spirits” and may be confiscated at security with no compensation. Definitely not the way we want to start your vacation!
That said, you’re still in for some delightful sips onboard! One of my absolute favorites is the “Drink of the Day.” Every day of your sailing, Disney features a signature cocktail at a discounted price—it’s a great way to try something new and keep your vacation fun and refreshing. I’ve discovered some personal favorites this way, like the Bahama Mama and Castaway Crush. And if beer is more your speed, don’t miss the chance to grab a Disney Cruise Line beer mug. You can purchase it through the
Onboard Gifts and get discounted refills throughout your trip—it’s a win-win!
For a little extra indulgence, treat yourself to a
Beverage Tasting Seminar. The Mixology Class or the Whiskey Tasting is perfect for trying something new while learning from the experts. These sessions fill up fast, so if it sounds like something you’d enjoy, head to the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app as soon as your booking window opens.
Karen, I hope this helps as you plan for your magical getaway! I know you’ll find plenty of opportunities to toast to an unforgettable Disney Cruise—whether it’s with a chilled glass of wine, a frosty beer, or a refreshing “Drink of the Day.”
Sea ya real soon with pixie dust and ocean breezes,
Dustin
