My question is about bring phone gimbals to WDW. I read on here that the DJI OSMO 4 was acceptable to bring in to the park but what about the DJI OSMO 5? This new version has a built in 215mm extension rod.

Hello, Grace! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your visit to see us! I will admit, I had to look up the DJI OSMO gimbal devices to learn more about them. They sound amazing and like an incredible tool to help you get amazing photos. However, these types of items are not above to be used on Walt Disney World property. I found this outlined on the Walt Disney World property rules, where you will find that selfie sticks, handheld extension poles for cameras, and/or mobile devices are not allowed in any Theme Park or Water Park.

Grace, consider checking out Memory Maker service for your next Walt Disney World vacation! It will allow you to have your choice of amazing photos taken by the fantastic Disney Photopass Photographers and have access to all the PhotoPass media available in and around the Theme Parks!

Please know that we are here for you every step of the way, Grace! So do not hesitate to come back and see us again anytime we can help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Clara
