This question is for Brigitte (being a fellow Canadian). Is it best to go through a travel agent to plan the whole trip OR call Disney and then have an agent plan the flights???

    Hi there Rosalie,

I will tell you that I absolutely LOVE to make all my own reservations!  I find it very rewarding when I research and then end up saving lots and thus I can enjoy my trip way more.  I understand that a lot of people don't really have the time or resources to do this, but it also lets me get excited a while ahead of time thinking and planning my own vacation.

I think a travel agent is normally going to find you more expensive travel, where I would surf the travel websites such as Expedia, Travelzoo and Priceline to name a few, and a lot of times I will be able to save on both flight and hotel, or I end up getting a decent price on a flight and then I will call Walt Disney World and book the room and package with their agents.

    I hope this helps you.
