I had a question my boyfriend has diabetes is he able to take his insulin and needles in to the park ?

    Hi there Leidi,

Thank you for taking the time to visit us here at planDisney, we really appreciate it!  I am happy to see you are thinking ahead to your visit at Disneyland Resort, I bet you are just as excited as I am to get back to the Happiest Place on Earth.

My husband is also diabetic, and we have never had an issue with him bringing in his insulin and supplies at any Disney Theme Park,  Disneyland Resort also has First Aid centers at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park with a nurse present, if need be.  My husband prefers to visit the First Aid centers to administer his injections, instead of the washrooms, for him, it is more comfortable and private.  There is a secure sharps disposal and even a place to securely store his insulin if it needs to be refrigerated.  It's also a great way to be hands free in the park, if your boyfriend is comfortable not having insulin with him at all times.  The First Aid centers are also a good place to visit if his sugars drop or change rapidly, since the nurses will be able to quickly assist if needed.

I hope you have a magical visit to Disneyland Resort, Leidi.  Please come back to planDisney with any other questions you may have, we are always happy to help.
