Hi I had a question if I only booked a hotel at Disney world and not a vacation package do I still put 200 down or do I pay for the whole hotel upfront? Considering doing this and buying an annual pass. Thank you

Hi Victor, thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!

If you are making a room-only reservation on the Walt Disney World website, your deposit will equal one night of your stay, plus tax. The balance is due upon check-in to the resort.  The deposit amount will vary depending on which Disney Resort Hotel you choose.

As an Annual Passholder, I often make room-only reservations. I personally like to have my balance paid in full prior to arriving for my vacation.  I find I can save money by purchasing Disney Gift Cards at retailers that offer them at a discount and then I apply the Disney Gift Cards to my reservation.

I'm excited to hear you are considering becoming an Annual Passholder!  If you decide to move forward with your decision, you will find discounts available on many dining and shopping locations.  Additionally, Disney has special offers, which often include resort discounts available to Annual Passholders.

I hope you find this information helpful.  Please let us know if we can assist you further.
