Anchors Aweigh, Becky! Thanks for dropping by planDisney before you pack up and set sail for the port.
Disney sure knows how to make every family member, even the tiniest Mouseketeers, feel special. The
"it's a small world" nursery! offers parents a chance to kick back and relax while their little ones explore under the watchful eyes of specially trained counselors. When my son was a tot, he adored the splash areas and meeting characters – I have this precious picture of him hugging Mickey Mouse.
Rest assured, Becky, Disney Cruise Line goes above and beyond for Guests with dietary needs and allergies. I suggest filling out the
Special Services form under your reservation, noting your child’s milk preference or allergy. I’m happy to share that you'll find a variety of non-dairy options, such as Lactose-Free Milk, Soy Milk, Rice Milk, and Almond Milk.
You are welcome to bring
nonperishable factory-sealed food items and shelf-stable milk in your carry-on luggage or a cooler no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 12″. Your dining room servers can set up a high chair or booster seat, and they are pros at providing kid-friendly foods; you can even request pureed foods served at dinner or delivered to your stateroom through room service.
As you zip up your suitcase, you might want to check out the convenient
packing list on the Disney Cruise Line website. You don’t have to worry about luggage storage. The stateroom bed is raised, allowing you to tuck them away underneath easily.
I know every child is different, but traveling with my son has been magical at every age. Though he may not remember his first cruise, I certainly do. As you prepare for your upcoming vacation, I wish you a journey filled with cherished moments and unforgettable memories you will treasure for years to come.
SEAS the adventure!
