    Hi I have a question about Art of Animation. My son is allergic to dogs and i know that it is a pet friendly hotel. Are there specific buildings/floors that are reserved for people who bring their dogs? Also what are the rules for the dogs?

    Hello Amanda and welcome back to planDisney!  It's so great to see you here again.

    Although Disney's Art of Animation Resort is indeed considered a Dog-friendly hotel at Walt Disney World Resort, I have some wonderful news for you, Amanda... Hakuna Matata!  You'll have no worries when planning to accommodate your dear son's allergies when staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, as Guests can place a room request to be allocated in a room outside of the designated dog-friendly area.  This request should then ensure your Mousketeer doesn't come into contact with any of our 4-legged friends!

    Resort room requests can be placed at the time of booking with Cast Members.  To make a reservation at a Disney Resorts Collections hotel, dial the phone number for Disney Resort Hotel Reservations contained within this handy Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory. 

    Amanda it may reassure you to know that at this time, no more than 2, fully vaccinated, well-behaved dogs are permitted per Resort room.  Plus of course, all visiting animals should be kept on a leash or harness by their owners at all times when in public areas. 

    Additionally, this past Disney Parks Blog article - Dogs Welcome at Select Walt Disney World Hotels also provides a little further information regarding dog-friendly accommodation.  Also, the current Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules state that all pets (except Service Animals) are not permitted to enter Disney Theme Parks, Water Parks, Disney Springs or ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
