Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Erik!
As I write this, I’m sipping a cup of coffee from my
Haunted Mansion mug – so, please know you’re talking to a lady who loves her coffee AND her Disney. Caffeine is the magical pixie dust that gets us through our busy and exciting Disney days, and I love pointing fellow Guests in the direction of that magical brew.
There are three All-Star Resorts at Walt Disney World Resort:
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort,
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, and
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. At this time, you will not find coffee makers in your resort room at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort or Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is undergoing a refurbishment, and the refurbished rooms do feature coffee makers. If you’ll be staying at Movies, I recommend calling (407) 939-1936 and adding a request to stay in a refurbished room to your reservation. While requests can’t be guaranteed, it’s always worth asking!
If your room doesn’t feature a coffee maker, never fear! Your resort’s food court, which will be located in each resort’s main building, has coffee available. If you’ll have a
Disney Dining Plan, you’ll receive a Resort Refillable Mug, which you can refill with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and soda throughout your stay at any resort Quick Service dining location. If you won’t have the Dining Plan, but know you’ll be drinking lots of coffee, it’s probably worth it to purchase a Resort Refillable Mug at a resort food court. A bonus is that the mugs have fabulous Disney designs and make great souvenirs.
You’ll also find Starbucks locations at each Walt Disney World Resort theme park. I love nothing more than walking down Main Street, U.S.A. with my iced latte, thinking about all the fun that awaits my family. As a bonus, the theme park Starbucks locations tend to feature great merchandise and usually have a park-specific specialty cupcake or cookie. Caffeine, a sugar rush, and a whole lot of magic sounds like the perfect vacation to me!
Have an amazing
summer vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort next month, Erik! If you think of any more questions as you count down and do your Disney dreaming, please come back and see us.
Wishing you a magical – and caffeinated – vacation,
Robyn
