Hi there, Veronica!
Thanks so much for stopping by
planDisney with your question. I’m having a practically perfect day, and I hope you are too!
I’m sorry to hear your vacation plans were put on hold last year, but it sounds like you’ll be able to make up for lost time this summer. You may have heard that some shopping and dining locations in the
Downtown Disney District are currently open, and the Disneyland Resort
theme parks will reopen their gates on April 30, 2021. So many Disney-loving Guests of all ages are eager to get back to the magic! At this time, however, theme park entrance is limited to residents of California due to guidelines set by the state. In addition, Guests who wish to enter one or both theme parks must have a valid ticket as well as a
theme park reservation that can be made using a new online system that will launch on April 12.
I can’t predict when out-of-state travelers will be able to visit California theme parks again, but I do recommend that you keep an eye on
Disneyland.com and the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest information as your trip approaches. Please don’t hesitate to write back to us with any other questions you have Veronica. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you and your husband will get sprinkled with some pixie dust while you’re in Southern California this summer!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
