Ques on photo pass photographers--do they automatically take pictures or do you have to ask each time you see them? Will family have to stop and pose? Pics would be for me but getting my fam to slow down will prob cause headaches!

    Hello, Vicki,

The Disney PhotoPass Photographers typically respond to guests only when they are asked to take photos (they will use your own camera, too, if you'd prefer). They will often do any combination of pictures you'd like:  entire family, just parents, just kids, mom/kids, dad/kids, etc.  However if there is a line of guests waiting for pictures, I try to keep those photos simple.

There are also photos taken with surprises that don't show up until you see them later.  If you are curious about those, you can visit www.stitchkingdom.com and look under Definitive Guides at the top for the information on Disney's PhotoPass.  Maybe by showing your family some of these surprise photos in advance, they'll be more willing to stop and pose. I've often found with my family who, too, don't like to stop and have their picture taken that I'm very willing to bribe them.  Fudge has worked wonders!

You can also encourage your family to think outside the box and not have every picture be so formal.  Some of my favorite photos have been where my kids had silly faces and poses.

Have a great trip, and I hope you can get lots of fantastic pictures!
