Hello, do all of the 2 Queen rooms at Yacht Club have actual beds, or are some a Queen bed and a sleeper sofa? We are traveling with 5 of us with two teenage daughters sharing a bed for 12 nights and I want to make sure they won't be on a sofa!

Ahoy there Marisa, and welcome aboard planDisney!

I'm excited to hear you'll be dropping anchor at Disney's Yacht Club Resort for your December stay. It's one of my favorite places to dock overnight in Walt Disney World. You'll love the spacious guest rooms and picturesque location on Crescent Lake. My family and I stayed here this past summer, and it was so convenient to walk or sail home from EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios after a busy day.

To accommodate your crew of five, your room here will feature two queen-size beds and one daybed. It's a great arrangement for parties with multiple adults, and all sleeping surfaces will fit the young and the young at heart. I grew up with two sisters, and our family of five was comfortable in the rooms at Disney's Yacht Club Resort even when my eldest sibling and I were young adults. As a fully grown, 5'5 tall adult, I fit adequately on the daybed, with ample space for stretching out.

I hope this is helpful, Marisa! Since you'll be visiting during the most festive time of year, enjoy the seasonal decorations throughout the theme parks and resorts, and don't forget to stop by next door to see the gingerbread carousel at Disney's Beach Club Resort. It smells almost as good as it looks! Thanks so much for floating your question by us, and we can't wait to sea ya real soon!

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
