I am in a quandary! My kids are too old for naps (4,7,9), but I am concerned that staying in the parks from dawn to dusk for a solid week will be too much for them. Specific ideas for planned downtime in January? Or will they be OK at the parks all day?

Hi Leslie - I agree, spending a full day every day for a solid week is probably going to be too much - not just for your children, by for you also!

January may be too chilly to go to the pool, but you may want to go back to the resort for a rest anyway.  You can sit outside and read, or visit some of the other things Disney has to offer, like the shops of Downtown Disney and the Boardwalk area.  In addition, you may want to consider playing miniature golf.

    Have a great vacation!
