Hi Alison,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. I am happy to help you to figure out how to access the Disability Access Service at Walt Disney World.
The website for the
Disability Access Service (DAS) is excellent and has detailed information for how you can go about registering for this service. Essentially, you can do this via video chat with a Cast Member between 30 and two days ahead of your visit. It looks like you are not quite in that window yet based on your visit date, so I suggest that you review the information on the website and then go ahead and do the video chat in that window. If you forget or are unable to do the video chat, you can head to
Guest Relations when you arrive at Walt Disney World to register for this service. Please note that the person who will is requesting to use DAS will need to be present during registration, whether this is done via video chat or in person.
Disney's Animal Kingdom is such a lovely park to visit. On a recent visit this summer, we had lots of fun with some family friends visiting this park. One highlight for me was seeing
Finding Nemo: The Big Blue...And Beyond! This engaging show features the story of
Finding Nemo with fabulous songs, puppets, and so much more. I highly recommend a stop to see this amazing show.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Alison. Have a wonderful time planning your magical trip, and please feel free to swim on back (I could not resist a
Finding Nemo joke!) if you have any further questions.
