2 Q's., 1. 1st time staying in a DVC resort, what are must packs since housekeeping is not included? 2. We are staying at BCV is there a room/area we should request. 3 kids(8,6,3), 2 adults. Just did online check-in. Leave in 10 days! Thanks!

    HI Michelle,

How exciting that your trip is nearly here!!!  I turned to the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World for some guidance on rooms at the Beach Club Villas,  and it recommends odd-numbered rooms 229-251, 329-351, 429-451, and 529-551. I LOVE Stormalong Bay at the Beach Club and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

As DVC members, we found that the only extra thing we've ever needed to pack was laundry soap, but you will be provided with a small box that you could do 1 or 2 loads with.  If you like using dryer sheets, you might want to bring those, too.  Otherwise, we don't bring anything extra.  We just have to be careful to hang our towels up to dry (which is challenging for my teenagers, ug). You do get housekeeping services the fourth day of your stay (and so on and so forth if it 8 or more days). Additional housekeeping is available for a fee.

We have also ordered groceries through www.gardengrocer.com to have some on hand, but that is purely optional and not necessary.

Have a magical trip and thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!
