Hi Eric!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Dining around Walt Disney World Resort is quickly becoming like it's own reason to visit. I like to say that Disney is now an Eat Park, too!
I have great news: Of the participating
Disney Dining Plan locations, many do offer some kind of cold, sweet beverage treat. On their own, most milkshakes, smoothies, frozen lemonades, slushies and floats do in fact qualify as a single snack credit. (
My favorite is the Disney Parks classic Pineapple Float.)
BUT, starting this year and continuing in 2019, a 'premium' beverage like a milkshake can be selected as your drink option when redeeming a meal entitlement, so long as that location offers a specialty beverage on its menu.
Some of the best Quick-Service options for specialty beverage meals in the parks are Golden Oak Outpost, Electric Umbrella, Sunshine Seasons, Dockside Diner, and Harambe Market. D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs currently has six milkshake options. And don't forget to check at the Quick-Service dining location of your Disney Resort Hotel as some have really flavorful creations.
Did you know: Guests over 21 can opt for an alcoholic beverage as their meal drink instead of a coffee, soda or a specialty beverage. (Do note that Magic Kingdom Park is dry.)
Don't forget to
give Mobile Ordering a try through your My Disney Experience App, and We'll See You in 2019, Eric!
