2017 QS Dining Plan. Is it possible to substitute drink for dessert or a side dish? It wold be useful at the resort, since we have refilable mugs. Tks

    Greetings Rafaello!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are so happy to hEAR from you again!

I put a little research into this answer, and unfortunately, I couldn't find any reports of Guests being able to substitute their drink option for another choice like a dessert or side. As you mentioned, the only place this would be extremely useful is when you are already using your refillable mug at your Resort Hotel. I've run into this same dilemma before. What I like to do is pick out a bottle of water or other sealed option and keep it to take into the parks with us. Not only do we have drinks with us then, but it also saves us a little bit of money we can spend on other treats or souvenirs.

Have a wonderful vacation, Rafaello, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with!

    Magical Wishes,
