Hello, Colby!
Welcome back to planDisney! In a little less than a month, you will be enjoying the Most Magical Celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort! My favorite new celebration experience is
Disney Enchantment. A magnificent new nighttime spectacular created just for the
50th Anniversary Celebration with a brand new theme song arranged with your favorite Disney classics that features fireworks and castle projections. A perfect way to end your day at the Magic Kingdom.
The
Disability Access Service or DAS will allow Guests who cannot wait in a conventional attraction queue the ability to receive a return time comparable to the current wait times. DAS Advanced planning allows Guests who have pre-registered to use DAS using the virtual chat feature with a Cast Member, to book 2 one-hour return times for select attractions, for each day that you have a valid theme park ticket and park pass reservation. Unfortunately, DAS Advanced selections cannot be changed or modified when you arrive at the parks. If you have a situation that would require you to miss your one-hour return window, I would suggest that you visit Guest Relations or seek out a Cast Member with the Guest Experience Team for assistance, before the start of your return time.
Colby, you do not have to scan in or use both of your DAS Advanced selections before requesting a return time using the Same-Day DAS Self-Selection Tool. Any requests made using the Self-Selection Tool in the
My Disney Experience mobile app are in addition to your pre-selected experiences. You can make your first request as soon as you enter the park. When you make a same-day selection, you can return any time your request does not expire. However, you only hold one regular DAS request at a time. You can make your next request once you have scanned into the Lightning Lane entrance to ride the attraction.
You can make your selections for up to 6 members of your travel party, connected to your
My Family & Friends list. Begin by opening the My Disney Experience mobile app and tap the
more icon [3 horizontal lines] in the lower right corner. Tap on the
Disability Access Service (DAS) button to begin the self-selection process. Follow the prompts to complete your selection. You can also access the DAS self-selection option from any attraction detail screen. You can continue to make same-day DAS selections until park closing.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
