Hi, Laura!
You are in luck. Quick Service credits are NOT tracked for adult/child, so feel free to order from either menu. A few tips if you plan to share meals:
-Order a large size drink. This still qualifies as your beverage (no upcharge) so go for it! Ask for a cup with ice to divide the drink.
-Free cups of ice water are available at quick service counter locations, so you could also use this as your second beverage.
-Ask for an extra plate so you can split the food, avoiding a fight of who ate more of the French fries!
-Find meals that are easy to split like flatbread pizzas or sharables - maybe nachos at
La Cantina de San Angel (quick service location in Epcot). Some items, such as a taco or a turkey leg might not be as friendly to share with a pal.
After each transaction, your remaining
Disney Dining Credits will be listed at the bottom of your receipt so you can monitor your usage. Remember that while kids can order from the Quick Service menu when on the Disney Dining Plan, they must order from a kids menu at Table Service locations when available.
I hope you enjoy the
Disney Dining Plan. Make sure to use up all those wonderful snack credits. A Mickey Ice Cream bar each day is highly recommended!
