Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Randi!
You are going to love your
2017 Quick-Service Dining Plan as you dine your way around Disney!
According to details listed on the QS Dining Plan PDF, "Guests ages 3–9 must order from a children’s menu where available". This means that when you see a Quick-Service menu with a separate kids' section, you'll use a children's entitlement when you order from that list and will use an adult entitlement when you order from the adult list.
However, there will be times when there is no separate kids' list, such as when you order a snack from some locations. For example, if you decide to grab a snack from Epcot's
Sunshine Seasons (which I highly recommend...actually, I highly recommend that you eat an entire meal there, as it is one of the very best Quick-Service locations on property. YUM!) you could order a delicious, gorgeous dessert from the Bakery Shop there. Items noted as available for a snack credit can be purchased as a snack for both children and adults.
You'll see the DDP logo next to any menu item that is available for a Disney Dining Plan entitlement, so as you tour, glance at signs posted with menu choices at food trucks, carts, QS counters and other locations. You'll become familiar with what's available as a snack entitlement throughout the parks, so when it's time to spend your 2 Quick-Service Meals and 2 snacks per person per night of stay, you'll be more informed about the variety of choices.
Have a magical trip, Randi! Be sure to send us more questions as you plan, too; we love to help!
