Hi Andrea, welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you're set for your Disneyland Resort trip in a few days. How exciting! I wish I was coming too.
Guests need a valid theme park admission and a
theme park reservation. If you've purchased your admission and made a reservation, you have everything you need for entrance to the theme park. Your reservation is tied to your ticket, so a QR code is not necessary. You might want to have your confirmation email with you just in case, but when you enter the parks on the 9th, you'll only need your
Disney e-Tickets scanned.
If you're like me and always want to double-check, pull up "Future Plans" in the
Disneyland mobile app. Your reservation should show up there, and your ticket should appear under "Tickets and Passes." At the main entrance, a Cast Member will scan the ticket barcode. A screenshot of your barcode can be useful in case the Wi-Fi is slow. I know you'll be ready to get through that gate as speedily as possible to start the fun!
You're arriving in time to catch the
Haunted Mansion's holiday makeover. That's a can't-miss for me! And when we're waiting in line, my family likes to utilize the
Mobile Order option on the Disneyland mobile app to order our favorite Mickey-shaped Beignets from the nearby
Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square.
I hope you have a wonderful time!
Elizabeth
