Hi Nancy! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
I'm glad you're thinking about a visit to Disneyland Resort to use your Disneyland Resort admission ticket. The
Disney100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort is underway and there are a lot of new things to experience that you won't want to miss! I'm looking forward to the Magic Happens Parade, which just debuted. I spotted Merlin and Arthur on a float from my favorite animated classic,
The Sword in the Stone.
The good news is Disneyland Resort's unused
theme park admission tickets always retain their value. Even with an unused ticket that's expired, you can still apply the value of that ticket to purchase a new ticket. You simply have to pay the difference since prices are subject to change.
Your ticket shouldn't have expired yet. An unused one-day ticket purchased in November 2022 is valid through December 30, 2023, and an unused multi-day ticket purchased last November must be used by January 12, 2024. So, if your plans are to visit this year, you should only need to pick your dates. In addition to your valid unused admission ticket, you'll also need a
theme park reservation to enter the parks. Check the
Theme Park Availability Calendar before you arrive to see if your preferred date and park are available since they do fill up.
You can also always locate your tickets' expiration information in the
Disneyland mobile app and in your confirmation email. To find your expiration in the app, click on the three-line menu in the lower righthand portion of the page. This menu will bring up a series of tiles. Select "Tickets and Passes" and you should see your ticket with its expiration information.
I hope you get to visit soon!
Elizabeth
