How do I put my paperless tickets on my magic band

    Welcome back to planDisney, Kathryn!

Your Magical vacation is getting so close, I hope your excitement is building and that you’re ready to enjoy all the extra pixie dust in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort.

Now, Kathryn, let’s make sure everything you need is linked, connected and ready for the Magic. I’ll first direct you to THIS PAGE where you can link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account if you haven’t already done so. Depending on the type of paperless ticket, you’ll see a guide to find the correct confirmation number. Once you’ve linked your tickets, any MagicBands that have already been linked to your account will automatically update.

If you are purchasing a new MagicBand as part of a vacation package and you’ve pre-purchased it while logged into your My Disney Experience account, no other steps are necessary. However, if your new MagicBand was bought through Shop Disney or at the parks, you’ll want to link that by inputting the number found on the inside of the MagicBand. Start by visiting the “My MagicBands and Cards” tab of the My Disney Experience site. You’ll be able to link that band with a few simple steps. If you are using the Mobile App, you’ll start by clicking on the three horizontal bars in the bottom row. From there, scroll down until you see “My Profile.” You will find “MagicBands & Cards” under that heading. You’ll then be able to view all MagicBands assigned to you as well as link a new band.

Kathryn, I hope this helps as you’re getting ready to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth. Please make sure to also secure your Disney Park Pass reservations prior to your trip. All guests are required to hold a complimentary theme park reservation in ADDITION to your valid theme park ticket. Disney Park Pass reservations can be made through the Mobile App or by logging into your My Disney Experience account.
