Bonjour, Julz!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney as you prepare to step into the magic of Disneyland Paris. You still have a few months until you're strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. with Sleeping Beauty Castle shining in the distance, but here at planDisney we think it's a great idea to finalize the booking logistics of a Disney vacation as soon as possible so that you can spend more time focusing on the fun — like dining and pixie-dusted outfits — so let's talk tickets!
As a fellow Mouseketeer who goes by a nickname (or two) that doesn't match my government-issued identification, I completely understand your concern, Julz. Whether or not Cast Members will require government-issued identification to verify the name on your
theme park ticket will depend on the type of ticket purchased, so be sure to check out the ticket details in your booking confirmation.
Personally, I've never encountered an issue providing identification with my proper name (Elizabeth) for a booking under my nickname (Lizzie), but this could be because the names are very similar. If your nickname varies greatly from the name on your identification, I would suggest reaching out to a Disneyland Paris representative for assistance modifying the name on your ticket so that you don't encounter any issues on the day of your visit. You can do this by phone using the number provided in your confirmation email or via the online chat function that appears on the
Disneyland Paris website periodically.
Once your ticketing concern has been resolved, I encourage you to check out the
Disney Parks Blog feature highlighting all of the magic coming to Disneyland Paris in 2025. You won't want to miss
Disney Tales of Magic, the new nighttime spectacular that weaves together a magical display of fireworks, drowns, lasers, and projections.
I hope this information is helpful, Julz, and that your Disneyland Paris vacation is
practically perfect! If you need any additional assistance as you finalize your plans, feel free to
stop back by planDisney. We're always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
